Jakob Ankersen, who belonged to IFK Gothenburg between 2015 and 2017, accounted for 13 goals and nine assists in 57 matches in the Allsvenskan. On Monday, he visited the program “Offside” on TV3 Sport in Denmark and shared an anecdote from his stay in Sweden.
Ankersen was out at the pub, and ended up at a police station.
– We had an end in Gothenburg, and there they have some strange rules that you must not be too drunk and must behave properly. I must have been too drunk and stood and smoked outside, he says in the program according to the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet and tells that he then started discussing with a doorman.
– Then I took out my phone and took a picture of the doorman and said: “I will remember you”. I probably should not have done that, because then I lay on the ground with my hands behind my back and they threw me into a police car. I was then not allowed to get out of that police car until we were at the station, where I was allowed to sleep. Then I could go home.
According to Ekstra Bladet, Ankersen then had a conversation with Blåvitt’s then coach Jörgen Lennartsson, who could only laugh at the course of events.
Ankersen now plays in Randers in Denmark.
