Professionally, Anke Engelke has been running smoothly for several decades, but privately, the comedian has to deal with disappointments again and again: She has already divorced twice and now seems to be going through life as a single. In 1994 Anke Engelke appeared before the altar for the first time and married keyboardist Andreas Grimm. The two got to know and love each other on stage, because Andreas Grimm is the founder of the band Fred Kellner, with whom Anke Engelke and her sister Susanne perform as the famous Soulsisters. In February 1996, the two had their daughter Emma, but the couple separated only a few years later.

The separation of Anke Engelke and Andreas Grimm, however, seems to have passed without a dramatic mud fight, because the ex-couple only divorced in 2005 and continued to cooperate professionally for a few years after the separation. Among other things, Andreas Grimm was responsible for the music for various TV and film projects in which Anke Engelke participated, including “Die Wochenshow”, “Ladykracher” and “Der Wixxer”.

Anke Engelke’s short liason with TV bully Niels Ruf
After separating from her first husband, Anke Engelke started dating the eight-year-old presenter Niels Ruf in 2000, who is known for his loose mouth and who is not too good for any headline. In a later interview, Anke Engelke described him as a “very wild one, he has to let off steam”.
In interviews, he was particularly fond of addressing the great age difference between him and the successful comedian – although this is exactly where the relationship ends. In an interview with the “Bild” newspaper, the funny power woman explains that she “sometimes felt very old” with Niels Ruf: “Two worlds collided, there it just bangs.” Nonetheless, the two parted on good terms.

Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre: Anke Engelke “betrayed” him
However, things did not always go as harmoniously as their first relationships broke up: In 2000, Anke Engelke tied up with journalist and writer Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre, who was 10 years her junior – and he promptly wrote the episode novel “Blackbox” about the relationship – Rumors about the comedian.
The relationship, which lasted around four years, seemed to end with a bang, because Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre then lost only a few good words about the sympathetic presenter. In a WDR documentary, the journalist says that Anke Engelke dumped him and drove him crazy. But he goes even further and accuses the comedian of duping the audience and the media: “All feuilleton idiots fall for them and think: man, she’s sexy and smart. In retrospect, Anke Engelke doesn’t seem to have been enthusiastic about the two younger men at her side either. In an interview with the “Stern”, she describes her relationship with Rüpel Niels Ruf as “lost time”: “Today I think it was a kind of self-punishment – for leaving Andreas.” Your time with Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre , who now lives mainly in hotels, describes it as “rather complicated”.
Anke Engelke’s spouse number 2: Claus Fischer
In 2005, Anke Engelke gave musician Claus Fischer the word of consent – on no less a day than her 40th birthday. At the wedding, the comedian adopts the Leverkusen’s name and is still called Anke Christina Fischer, but she keeps her stage name Anke Engelke. Compared to “Bild” she reveals that her new partner is “not such a gossip” like ex Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre.

Anke Engelke and husband Claus Fischer have two sons
The new couple will have offspring in the year of the wedding: In July 2005, their son Lasse Fischer saw the light of day. In 2009, Aaron followed, the second son of Anke Engelke and Claus Fischer. Almost nothing is publicly known about the comedian’s two sons. In May 2015, Anke Engelke, who is now vegan, and the music producer announced their separation, the divorce will follow in 2018. Since the couple separated, Anke Engelke seems to be single and lives as a single mother.

According to VIP.de, Claus Fischer is said to have moved to another part of Cologne with a new woman after the separation. Allegedly, the musician is said to have become the father of a child with this woman again just two months after the announcement of the separation. However, Anke Engelke never commented publicly on these rumors.
