The exhibition “Emptiness. Pit” by the artist Anitra Bērzina, which is familiar in the bunker of the Žanis Lipke memorial, is a peculiar diary, created in the shadow of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. Emphasizing the nature of chaos and disorder, which currently prevails over the minds of both national leaders and citizens of European countries, some of the paintings in the exhibition are piled up and scattered on the floor of the room. On the other hand, the museum bunker as an exhibition place tries to prove at least episodic safety.
