On September 6, the Bolshoi Theater hosted the official ceremony of presenting the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation badge. Among others, the singer Anita Tsoi received it. True, the 50-year-old star arrived at the event in a wheelchair: a few days ago she broke my leg during the filming of the video. But this did not affect the woman’s joyful mood.
“I was injured while doing my professional duty,” Anita joked when receiving an award from the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova.
Tsoi noted that for her this award is much wider than recognition of her achievements in the field of culture and art – it is also a sign of the correct policy of Russia in the field of interethnic equality.
“Now I have a clear understanding that in our country, each person with his work and talent can achieve the highest results, receive recognition of his country and his people,” the singer said.
Recall that the title of People’s Artist was awarded to Anita Tsoi by the President of the Russian Federation in March 2021.
