Friday April 9th 2021 – With the in-house developed and widely patented advanced NIR (aNIR) drying technology from adphos, the gap to analogue offset printing closes. Corresponding inkjet printing solutions can now also be offered.
ANIR enables inkjet printing on high-gloss paper with high ink application in offset quality at a speed of 150 m / min.
All of this, even with larger runs, at a lower cost than offset.
The aNIR drying technology enables individual adjustment of the dryer performance depending on the ink, ink application, substrate, material and format. In this way, the lowest dryer performance configurations and the lowest thermal load on the printed substrates are possible today, and the otherwise usual wavy and dried-out printed products are avoided. Even strong cooling and rewetting is no longer necessary with aNIR drying.
The extremely compact aNIR dryer solutions also allow upgrade or replacement dryer kits in existing inkjet printing machines.
