The seventh edition of the Port Prim Art Fest, organized by Grand Hotel and SPA Primorets, officially begins on 02.10.2024 (Wednesday) at 5:30 p.m. in the Petko Zadgorski Gallery at 24 Metropolitan Simeon St. Burgas. The opening events are two suitable for all art and animation connoisseurs young and old. Here they are:
0t 5:30 p.m. Opening of a general exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Prof. Bozhidar Bonchev, Stefan Bozhkov, Kalia Kalcheva, Georgi Minchev and Angela Terzieva.
Noted Bulgarian artists create works in a variety of styles and you will be able to enjoy a diverse and exquisite exhibition that has something to offer everyone. The authors will be on site in the gallery and you can ask them anything you want to know about their art.
From 6:30 p.m. Animation for children and grown-up fans of good cartoons: Screening of “The Ballad of the Self-Proclaimed Knight Zhelyazko and the Fire-Breathing Dragon Dimcho” and “The Paper Minotaur.”
The tapes are by the Bulgarian writers, artists and animators Penko and Sotir Gelevi, who will also be on site at the “Petko Zadgorski” gallery, where the screenings will take place. All those who are curious will be able to personally learn more about the creation of animations, comics, illustrated children’s books from them.
