Madrid, Dec 28 (EFE) .- Nancho Novo, Fran Perea, Raquel Pérez, ElZurdo, Verónica Ronda and Cristina Medina are the artists who will debut in “Anïmales mixtøs”, the first edition of a music festival performed by actors and actresses who organizes the Ships of the Spanish.
The “Anïmales mixtøs” festival consists of six concerts, spread out between January and February, by six actors and actresses who, throughout their careers, have made the leap to music and have combined both facets, as explained this Monday by Las Naves del Español in a press release.
The theater is twinned with music for many reasons: rhythm, tessitura, harmony, color of voices or breathing. “In the theater we often see actors play instruments or sing,” say the organizers.
And in every self-respecting theater project there is a musical creator. Furthermore, theater is and has always been musical – cabaret, opera, musicals – because music complements, enriches theater. “Hence this initiative that highlights the value of six multidisciplinary artists who will give rhythm and color to the nights of Café Naves Matadero”, they add
Six actors make up this series of concerts for the nights of the Café with which the Naves del Español in Matadero continue their musical programming for this season after the success of “Sufrida calo”.
The musical program will take place on the stage of the Café Naves Matadero on Wednesday nights at ten o’clock at night from January 13 to February 17. EFE
