Animal Crossing New Horizons: our 10 tips to know

• 1 – 8 resources / 1 rock

Daily, each rock can give you up to 8 resources. Dig two holes near the rock and hit it. The holes will prevent you from being gradually pushed back. So you can extract 8 resources from each of them.

• 2 – Move the rocks of your island

A rock obstructs your route / your planning ideas? Eat one fruit (or an egg) then hit it with a shovel or an ax. The rock, thus destroyed, will reappear elsewhere on your island. It may take several days before the magic happens.

• 3 – Avoid wasp stings

Tired of being bitten by wasps? Stand in front of the tree you want to shake while holding your net by hand. When a beehive falls, your character will watch it. Then simply press the A key to capture the wasp for sure. You will no longer need remedies!

• 4 – The calm of island life

So what is this insect mysterious that disturbs the calm of your heavenly life? Locate it by the sound it emits then put a good shovel to dislodge it. Then catch your net to get a mole-cricket. The return to calm and peaceful life is yours.

• 5 – Why plant fruit when you can move trees?

By discovering new fruits on another island, your first reflex will surely be to recover them to plant them at home. In place, eat a fruit and give it a shot shovel in the desired tree: you will get it whole and can replant it as is on your island. You will thus gain several days of harvest!

• 6 – Too much energy

Have you eaten too much fruit but don’t want to break the next rock you’re going to hit? Sit on a toilet to empty your energy bar. And above all, don’t forget to wash your hands!

• 7 – Animal Crossing Casino

Every day, a golden hole will appear on your island. A shovel will allow you to find 1000 bells. Put back a bag of bells to grow a bell tree. Three bags will then grow on the tree which can only be harvested once. Each bag will contain the amount buried if it was less than or equal to 10,000 bells. Beyond this amount, you will only have a percentage chance of getting triple your winnings. Otherwise, you will only get 3 x 10,000 bells.

• 8 – Furniture in the trees

Everyday, shake the non-fruit trees on your island: two pieces of furniture are hidden there and waiting for you. You can also find one in the non-fruit trees of each mystery island. One wonders who is hiding them up there…

Do you want to sell fruit native to your island? Don’t do it at a loss! Go to the island of your friends who do not have the same native fruit as yours. Méli & Mélo will be happy to buy them for you 500 bells each.

• 10 – My kingdom against weeds

Do not sell your weeds to Méli & Mélo. Instead, crack a leafy rain. Note that 15 weeds are worth 150 bells and that 1 leafy rain is the equivalent of 300 bells.
