In the search carried out at the house of Jesús and Laura, Mexican authorities documented the animal abuse of the eight pets that lived in unsanitary conditions inside the house of the couple of parents.
The dogs remained in pestilential rooms, among excrement, urine, dirty rags, garbage and family furniture, “with notable carelessness in their diet,” according to documents from the Mexican Prosecutor’s Office, who began an investigation for this crime.

Animal abuse in the State of Mexico is punishable by up to 9 years in prison, if it is a public servant, official sources pointed out.
For this reason, they were handed over into custody to the animal protection association “Salvando, historia diferente”, located in Naucalpan, while the legal situation of the couple who was arrested on Tuesday and transferred to the Mexican prisons on Thursday, July 20, is determined.
