FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR – Former volunteer Anies Baswedan who is part of the Volunteers of Change South Sulawesi (RPS) is now starting to consolidate internally.
Currently, they are reactivating voluntary centers scattered throughout all districts and cities throughout South Sulawesi.
“Yes, (consolidation) is being done. We are starting to reactivate AMIN volunteer centers across different regions. In the last database, there were thousands of Anies volunteer leaders in this area,” said Asri Tadda, Chairman of South Sulawesi Change Volunteers after a coordination meeting in Makassar, Wednesday night (14/08/2024).
According to Asri, the militancy of former volunteer Anies Baswedan in this area was confirmed in the last presidential election, where they always appeared as the front guard even with little logistical support.
“Anies’ fellow volunteers who have now joined the RPS are the winners of change. What brings us together again is because we remain consistent in our -efforts to encourage ideas for change and development for this region,” said the former spokesman for the Team Division Advantage (TPD) Anies – Muhaimin (AMIN) South Sulawesi.
Therefore, Asri explained, the support that will be given to one of the pairs of candidates who will compete in the gubernatorial election later on, will be based on a commitment to push the agenda for change and development in South Sulawesi.
“We have drawn up several priority change agendas that need to be done in South Sulawesi. So, that is what we will offer to the Deputy Governor. If it is accepted and there is a commitment to fight for him, God is willing, we will all go to support him,” Unhas alumni explained.
