Circuit Formula E became the spotlight after the roof of the audience stands collapsed due to the hurricane. Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan declined to comment on the incident.
As seen by detikcom, Sunday (29/5/2022), Anies appeared to be present at the PKS 20th Harlah event. Anies was reluctant to speak when asked about the roof of one part of the Formula E circuit collapsing.
After attending the PKS 20th Harlah event, Anies was bombarded with questions regarding Formula E. Anies was heard only speaking briefly and smiling about it.
“Wait a minute, yes. We’ll be in front,” said Anies as he walked towards his car.
However, Anies remains reluctant to comment on the Formula E circuit. He seemed to be smiling and giving a thumbs up.
Afterwards, Anies was seen shaking the hands of a number of PKS cadres and volunteers who were present at the event. He also had time to take selfies using the volunteers’ gadgets. Their boisterous shouts accompanied Anies to his car.
Regarding the incident where the roof of the Formula E circuit collapsed, Chief Executive Formula E Jakarta Ahmad Sahroni said the contractor would immediately repair the damage as soon as possible.
“Soon in a short time. The contractor is preparing the progress of the repair,” said Sahroni when contacted, Sunday (29/5).
Sahroni ensured that the repair process would not take a long time. Given, the damage did not reach other parts other than the roof.
“God willing, it won’t take long because it’s only the roof,” he said.
