FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Presidential candidate Anies Baswedan said the Ministry of Defense website was hacked by hackers. He said it was ironic.
This was expressed during the third debate for the 2024 presidential election. It took place at Istora Senayan on Sunday (7/1/2024).
“Furthermore, ironically, the Ministry of Defense is the ministry that was hacked by hackers in 2023. What an irony,” said Anies.
In fact, he said, the Ministry of Defense’s budget is very large. Namely hundreds of trillions.
“The Ministry of Defense’s 700 trillion budget cannot maintain that,” he explained.
On the other hand, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta highlighted the Ministry of Defense which purchased defense equipment. But you can’t maintain your website so it’s easy to break into.
“In fact, it was used to buy used defense equipment,” he concluded.
