Anies Reveals Strange Phenomenon in the Political World, Alluding to 4 State Goals

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan encourage young people not to be afraid to enter the world political. According to him, the younger generation should be in politics.

This was conveyed by Anies when giving a speech at the launch of the PKS Muda Institute, as well as commemorating Youth Pledge Day, Thursday (28/10).

“We often encounter strange phenomena. If people have problems entering politics, there is no problem, if people don’t have problems entering politics, there is a problem, you know, when will we have a supply of good people in the political sphere if there is no problem in entering politics, there is a problem,” said Anies. .

According to Anies, in the current era of nomination, many parties are asking why they want to become a member of the legislature. In fact, according to him, if the person has no problems, has idealism, and has intellectual capacity, the community should be grateful.

“In fact, if there are people who have problems entering politics, they must be questioned. Small things like this need serious efforts to reverse that in any sector there is a choice, a clean choice, an unclean choice,” Anies explained.

Anies also said that being active in the political field is not just talking about the reins of power. However, furthermore, being active in politics also carries a mission.

The mission, said Anies, is to carry out the constitutional order which has four objectives. Among them are advancing public welfare, educating the nation’s life, protecting every blood spill, and also being actively involved on a global scale

“The four goals of the state, the four promises of independence, must be understood and then possessed of sufficient intellectual capacity to be able to be translated in the form of policies, proposals, steps,” he said.

In addition, according to Anies, politics also carries a technocratic mission as well as policies. He also emphasized that in politics what must be emphasized is integrity.

“Because the challenges are quite large, and Indonesia today, we are still in a phase where democracy is taking place, then decision-making is still very close, very close to the potential for imperfect governance,” Anies explained.

“Therefore, integrity is important for us on the one hand to build and improve the governance system, but on the other hand, personal integrity is maintained,” he added.
