Anies Reveals Plans After No Longer Being Governor of DKI October 2022

Sleman, CNN Indonesia

Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan did not want to respond to suggestions for him to join or become a political party cadre ahead of the Presidential Election (presidential election) 2024.

Anies also revealed his planned activities after the end of the DKI Jakarta Governor’s term later.

“Ya nanti break it’s been a while, then that’s all,” said Anies at UGM, Sleman, DIY, Wednesday (25/5).

In addition, Anies said that he still wants to complete his program plan before the end of the term of office of the Governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2017-2022 period in October this year.

“Right now, I’m finishing it in Jakarta. So I hope that in the last few months, everything planned for the program can be completed,” said Anies.

In the near future, Anies will still be involved in grand launching or the inauguration of the Jakarta International Stadium and Taman Ismail Marzuki which are undergoing revitalization.

“So I’m still concentrating on it. Later when it’s finished, I’ll think about the next stage. There’s a sequence,” said Anies.

Previously, the chairman of the DPD of the DKI Jakarta Democratic Party, Mujiyono, suggested that DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan be a cadre of a political party.

He said the competition towards the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) would be even tighter. Currently, Anies’ electability is quite high.

He said that by having a political vehicle in the form of a party, Anies is believed to be able to become a candidate in the 2024 presidential election smoothly.

“So my advice is to immediately become a cadre of a political party, to maintain electability so that you can move there. So it’s like driving, Anies’ car is a rental car, while Ketum is not as fast as Anies, but his own car,” said Mujiyono in a written statement, Tuesday (24/24). 5).

He assessed that the end of Anies’ tenure as Governor of DKI Jakarta in October 2022 would erode the electability of the former Minister of Education and Culture.
