Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan allow sports facilities in open spaces to operate with a number of conditions on the extension of the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) Level 4 on 10-16 August.
This provision is contained in Governor’s Decree Number 975 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Level 4 Covid-19 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) signed by Anies on Tuesday (10/8).
“Especially for sports facilities in open spaces, they can operate with conditions,” quoted from the attachment to the Governor’s Office, Wednesday (11/8).
The provisions in question are limited operating hours until 20.00 WIB, without spectators and stricter implementation of health protocols.
“Remarks: Workers and users have been vaccinated,” reads the attachment to the Governor’s Office.
When compared with the Governor’s Decree Anies during the implementation of PPKM Level 4 for the period 3-9 last August, the provisions for opening sports facilities in open spaces were not stated.
At that time, Anies only regulated the temporary closure of the locations of art, culture, sports facilities and social activities that could cause crowds and crowds.
For information, the Indonesian government previously decided to extend PPKM Level 4 on the island of Java and Bali from Tuesday (10/8) to August 16, 2021.
DKI Jakarta is one of a number of provinces that continue to apply the restrictions. Recently, a number of indicators for handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Jakarta have shown a downward trend.
