Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedanopen voice regarding the Circular (SE) of the Regional Secretary, Marullah Matali, related to prayer Eid Al-Fitr civil servants and non-ASN at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
Anies emphasized that the SE was not aimed at gathering the masses in JIS. According to him, the SE was just a notification that the ID prayers, which are usually held at the offices of the mayor and regent, this year will be centered at JIS.
“So the Eid prayers which are held in each mayor’s office, this time are gathered here [JIS]. So it is not held in every mayor’s office. So it’s not that everyone is asked to come here, right,” said Anies at JIS, Sunday (1/5).
Anies opened his voice after circulating Circular Letter No. 27/SE/2022 concerning the Call for the Implementation of Eid Prayers 1443 H/2022 M at the Jakarta International Stadium.
The circular dated April 28, 2022, which was signed by Marullah Matali, summarizes three points. First, information about the Eid prayer at JIS which will start at 06.30 WIB.
The second point reads, “Heads of Regional Apparatus or Work Units on Regional Apparatus to urge state civil servants and non-state civil servants who do not travel back and forth to and or out of town to carry out the Eid prayer as referred to in number 1.”
In the third point, ASN and non-ASN who perform Eid prayers at JIS are asked to continue to comply with the health protocol.
“This circular is to be a concern and to be implemented as well as possible and full of responsibility,” said the SE quote.
