Anies Invites Meatball Entrepreneurs to City Hall, Hasto PDIP Asks Questions

Jakarta

Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan held the Jakarta E-Prix 2022 Social Friendly Night at the DKI Jakarta City Hall a few days ago. Anies invited a number of parties to the event, one of which was a meatball businessman named Ruli Renaldi. Anies’ move was questioned by PDIP.

The friendly evening event itself was held behind closed doors on Friday (24/6/2022) at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Jl Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta. Besides Ruli, a number of officials from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the Jakarta Formula E organizing committee also attended the event.

On the sidelines of the event, Anies together with the Chief Executive of Formula E Ahmad Sahroni and Ruli came out of the room to hold a press conference. That’s when Anies introduced Ruli as one of hundreds of MSME players who sold during the Formula E Jakarta event on June 4.

“We especially express our appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Sahroni and his entire team and also Mr. Ruli Renaldi beside me. Mr. Ruli Renaldi is an entrepreneur Bakso Bakwan Aroma Soan, who participated yesterday,” said Anies.

Anies said that the first season of the Formula E event involved hundreds of micro to ultra-micro business players who did not only come from Jakarta, but also other areas outside the capital city.

“Because yesterday’s Formula E was the first Formula E that specifically gave a place to MSMEs in various places, this has never happened. Now, Formula E activities are not only enjoyed by spectators from afar, middle and large audiences, but also small micro and even ultra micro economic actors. Yesterday it came from Jakarta and 12 provinces throughout Indonesia,” he said.

Anies was asked why he invited meatball entrepreneurs. Anies answered that his party invited all MSMEs selling in Formula E. However, not all of them came and fulfilled the invitation that night.

“About MSMEs (who were invited to Balkot) We invite all MSMEs, we give all of them the opportunity. Tonight there are several in Jakarta, which they attended this dinner,” he said.

On the same occasion, Ruli said he was happy that his small business was accommodated to sell in the middle event international. He hopes that this event will signify a revival for MSME actors from the adversity era due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We hope that with the passage of this pandemic period, MSMEs can rise up with the cooperation and assistance of Jakpreneur. My hope for MSMEs is not to stop dreaming, keep creating bismillah with our intentions and creativity, collaboration with Jakpreneur we can grow together,” said Ruli.

Questioned by the Secretary General of PDIP

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto responded to Anies’ move to invite meatball vendors to City Hall. Moreover, the chairman of the PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, had a viral statement about the meatball seller. Hasto questioned Anies’ intention only now to invite the meatball seller.

“Yes, as I recall, Pak Anies has been governor since 2018. So why are you only meeting meatball vendors now? So that’s an example of when politics doesn’t take root, so it’s too late to meet the small people,” said Hasto at the JCC, Saturday (26/26/2020). 6/2022).

detik.com has contacted TGUPP to ask for a response regarding Hasto’s question about Anies inviting the meatball seller but has not yet received a response.
