Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan promises the Paris Hotline or free lawyer service program for people experiencing persecution and intolerant issues if they are elected in the 2024 presidential election. Famous lawyer Hotman Paris admitted that he had no problem with the name of the program being similar to his name.

Hotman admitted that he had just called Anies regarding the Paris Hotline program plan. Hotman said Anies was inspired by him.
“Just now he called me, Anies, basically he subtly told me about the use of the name Paris, subtly, not overtly, meaning as if admitting that he was inspired from there, like that you know,” said Hotman.
Hotman again has no problem with the name of the Paris Hotline program that Anies will launch as long as the aim is good. Hotman said Anies knew the strategy that the public would like the program.
“Well, if it’s for a good purpose, then why not, right? like that you know. What I have been doing for more than 10 years, and I don’t do it to make a name. My people are already famous. Precisely because Already famous, people believe it,” he said.
“There has been no discussion regarding collaboration, but he was inspired by that and he knows that the people really like it. Law enforcement in Indonesia has been destroyed, especially for the little people,” he added.
Anies Will Create a Paris Hotline
Anies Baswedan previously promised the Paris Hotline or free lawyer service program for people experiencing persecution and intolerant issues. Because, according to him, every violation of the law should not be allowed to go unpunished because it will spread and will be considered something that is right.
“Therefore, the first step is whenever there is a violation committed by anyone, anytime, anywhere, then enforce the rules, enforce the law,” said Anies in the first presidential candidate debate which was held at the KPU building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12 /12).
The second step, continued Anies, if we talk about harmony, we must make communication efforts with all parties. The state must not be hostile to any element in society.
“You can’t. The state is an organizer that must reach out to everyone, I, we may not like, we may not agree with someone’s thoughts, but the state must give him the right to speak, including to criticize, so that there is room for freedom for the people to express their opinions,” ” he said.
