Presidential candidate serial number 01, Anies Baswedancarried out a major campaign in Tegallega Field, Bandung City, West Java. Jusuf Kalla (JK) and Surya Paloh went down the mountain to accompany Anies’ campaign in Bandung.
JK is the 10th and 12th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, while Surya Paloh is the General Chair of the NasDem Party, the party supporting Anies-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin). In front of JK-Paloh and his supporters, Anies said that people’s finances were currently increasingly squeezed and called for change.
“Change does not come by itself, change must be completed,” said Anies to thousands of his supporters, quoted by detikJabar, Sunday (28/1/2024).

Anies asked about the current condition of education and the issue of basic needs which often burden the community.
“Cheap or expensive education?” Anies asked thousands of his supporters.
“Expensive,” answered the crowd.
“Easy or difficult fertilizer?” Anies asked again.
“It’s difficult,” answered the crowd.
“Do we need to continue with that?” Anies asked.
“No,” shouted the crowd in response to Anies’ question.
Anies then stated that the people who gathered at Tegallega Square came to support change. He also said that recently Indonesia’s economic condition was not in a good condition.
“We are gathered here because we want change. Recently we have felt our difficult economic conditions together,” he concluded.
Chairman of the West Java DPW NasDem, Saan Mustopa, asked Bandung residents to attend the polling stations on February 14 for the sake of Anies and NasDem’s victory. This time, he thinks it is time for NasDem to win the election.
JK and Paloh are optimistic that Anies will win
JK and Surya Paloh accompanied Anies Baswedan on the campaign in Bandung. Paloh recalled his time together with JK in the old party.
“This is our senior together, my friend, he has been at Golkar for a long time. Mr. JK wants to see first hand, check the field, how his friend is doing in his activities facing the election,” said Paloh, quoted from detikJabar, Sunday (28/1).
