Anies Baswedan Showcases Jakarta International Stadium at PKS 21st Anniversary Peak Event

Jakarta

The candidate for president of the Coalition for Change for Unity, Anies Baswedan, exhibiting the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) at the PKS 21st Anniversary Peak event today. Anis said the construction of JIS broke a world record because its infrastructure is one of the most complex in the world.

“In Jakarta, JIS has broken a world record because the infrastructure being built is one of the most complex in the world,” Anies said in his speech at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday (20/5/2023).

He explained about the complexity of the construction of the international standard stadium. The former Governor of DKI stated that the stadium was built by the nation’s children.

“Having to lift a roof that weighs 36 thousand tons, like 24 thousand cars together, is done with high complexity, even the National Geographic MegaStructures program places this as a project that should be a lesson for the whole world,” he explained Anies.

“And who built it? All the children born to Indonesian mothers, who were educated in Indonesia, who went to school in Indonesia, did not use external force. They are just as great, the world is enchanting with the work of Indonesian children,” he concluded.

This was conveyed by Anies in his national address. He invited the community to be determined to fight for change.

“In the message of the Syuro Council (PKS) earlier, that the changes we are making are complete changes, where there are things that are continued, there are things that are corrected, there are things that are added, and there are things that have not been successful that must be stopped, that is a change. comprehensive,” said Anies.

Previously, Anies opened his political speech by conveying three poems. In his rhymes, Anies uses the names of PKS elites in his diction. As follows:

Habib Salim went to Koja
Stopped by on the way to eat papaya
2023 we work
2024 we succeed

In the second rhyme, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta still uses the same pattern. It’s just that this time, the rhyme means optimism for the victory of the coalition that carries it.

Ustaz Syaikhu went to Kemayoran
Returning to Kemang
Together with the Coalition for Change
Biidznillah we will definitely win
