A number of foreign media highlighted the plans of presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan contesting the results 2024 presidential election to the Constitutional Court (MK).
Singapore Media Channel NewsAsia reported that Anies admitted that he planned to challenge the results of the presidential election to the Constitutional Court.
The media also highlighted the election vote count which is currently increasingly showing a significant victory for presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto.
“Indonesian presidential candidate Anies Baswedan said on Wednesday that he plans to sue the Indonesian Constitutional Court over the results of last month’s presidential election,” wrote CNAWednesday (13/3).
Malaysian media, Malay Mailalso reported that Anies planned to file a complaint regarding the results of the presidential election.

The preliminary vote count results of the General Election Commission (KPU) show that Prabowo Subianto is in first place with almost 60 percent of the vote in the 2024 presidential election.
Meanwhile, Anies won around 25 percent of the vote in second place, followed by Ganjar with around 16 percent in third place.
The new KPU will announce the official results on March 20 2024.
