Presidential and vice presidential candidates Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) lost in East Java based on quick calculations or quick count several survey agencies.
According to Politika Research Consulting (PRC) data, Anies-Imin only won 16.94 percent of the vote in East Java.
They were defeated by Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka who dominated with 65.59 percent of the vote and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD who came in second with 17.47 percent of the vote.

Then, based on Poltracking’s quick count, the Anies-Muhaimin pair was also in last place with 16.42 percent. Ganjar-Mahfud is in second place with 16.97 percent and Prabowo-Gibran is at the top with 66.60 percent.
A similar situation was demonstrated by the survey institute Charta Politik. Prabowo-Gibran got 63.56 percent, Ganjar-Mahfud 18.36 percent, and Anies-Cak Imin lagged behind at 18.07 percent.
However, voting anomalies occurred in legislative elections (pileg). The party led by Cak Imin, namely the National Awakening Party (PKB), has skyrocketed in East Java.
This means that PKB’s vote acquisition had no impact on Anies-Cak Imin’s vote acquisition. In fact, East Java is known as the PKB vote base.
PKB’s dominance in East Java is visible in the results quick count several survey agencies. Based on Poltracking’s quick count, PKB received the most votes in East Java with 19.34 percent. Meanwhile PDIP is in second place with 16.33 percent.
The same thing was shown quick count Charta Politika stated that PKB was in first place with 17.63 percent. Then, PDIP is in second place with 15.19 percent.
Slightly different results are shown quick count PRC. PKB is in second place, narrowly losing to PDIP. PKB won 16.51 percent and PDIP 17.81 percent.
