In November 2020, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government applied for loan funds for national economic recovery (PEN) to the central government. The PEN funds for DKI that were disbursed in 2020 amounted to Rp 3.2 trillion. Meanwhile, for 2021, Rp 7.8 trillion will be disbursed.

Anies said the Rp 7.8 trillion fund that was disbursed in 2021 was used to continue infrastructure development in 2020.

“Infrastructure development activities in 2021 are a continuation of infrastructure development in 2020, so that they become an integral part of the implementation of development,” said Anies when reading the answer to the views of the factions regarding the 2020 APBD changes at the Plenary Meeting at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta. , Friday (6/11/2020).

Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) is one of Anies’ mega-projects in the spotlight. Last June, Anies directly supervised the JIS roof truss removal process.

Anies’ latest instruction, JIS is targeted to be inaugurated in December 2021. So what are the Anies lighthouse projects that are still running amidst the pandemic?

Jakarta International Stadium

The Jakarta International Stadium has been under construction since the end of 2019. The loan funds for the 2020 national economic recovery (PEN) of the DKI Provincial Government are highlighted because some of them are used for infrastructure development, one of which is the construction of JIS. The PEN loan fund used to build the Jakarta International Stadium is Rp 1.18 trillion.

This year, the progress of JIS construction began to be significant. Anies said this stadium could be used for religious activities to art activities.

Anies also explained the shape of the Jakarta International Stadium, which has an open and closed roof.

“On the other hand, this is a city where the majority of the population in the afternoon he has to carry out the obligation for the Maghrib prayer which is very short. You can imagine, looking at that stadium we will meet a situation where the majority may do plural, because the match is at 7, 80 thousand people, where they can implement it,” said Anies, Wednesday (28/7/2021).

“With the stadium opening and closing the roof, the match can be done practically at any time, because during the day it can be used, in the afternoon, at any time,” he continued.

Most recently, Anies instructed the inauguration of the JIS to be carried out in December 2020. This is stated in Ingub Number 49 of 2021 concerning the Settlement of Regional Priority Issues for 2021-2022.

“The JIS stadium will be inaugurated in December 2021,” said Anies’ latest Ingub, as seen on Monday (9/8).

Anies asked for supporting infrastructure related to activation in the JIS area. First, Anies wants the addition of new KAI stations on the west and east sides of JIS. The development is targeted until June 2022. Then Anies also instructed the completion of the new additional route permit for KCI Jatinegara-Rajawali-Ancol-Priok.

“The target time is October 2021,” wrote Ingub Anies.

Lastly, Anies wants to build access ramp toll road to JIS area. Anies’ target time is also June 2022.
