Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan emphasized that he and his vice presidential candidate Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin are currently focused on completing the vote count 2024 presidential election.
He conveyed this when asked about his chances of running in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Governor Election. Anies served as governor of DKI Jakarta 2017-2022.
“We are now focusing on completing the calculation. We will focus on that,” said Anies at the Nurul Huda Mosque, Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Friday (1/3).
Anies ensures that the movement for change that he is carrying in the 2024 presidential election with Cak Imin will continue to be an integral part. Therefore, he ensures that he is completing the struggle until the changes he advocates can be implemented well.
“So now there is no need to look left and right, we are now focused on completing the struggle and this is the mandate of millions of people,” said Anies.
Based on the KPU’s real count data as of Friday (1/3) at 06.00, the Anies-Muhaimin pair received 31,377,931 votes or 24.49 percent or was in second place.
Meanwhile, the Prabowo-Gibran pair won first place with 75,372,519 votes, aka 58.83 percent.

Recently, a number of politicians were said to have entered the market to become candidates for governor of DKI Jakarta in the upcoming 2024 regional elections.
The names of politicians who have emerged include Ridwan Kamil and Ahmed Zaki Iskandar from Golkar and the Chairman of the DPD Gerindra Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria and Ahmad Sahroni from NasDem.
