Condolences flowed over the death Bekasi Regent Eka Supria Atmaja, Sunday (11/7) night. A number of regional heads in the area around Bekasi wrote their condolences via social media accounts.
Through his Twitter account @ridwankamil, the Governor of West Java expressed his deep condolences for the death of Eka Supria Atmaja.
“My deepest condolences. West Java has lost a lot. Has passed away to Rahmatulloh, Bekasi Regent H Eka Supria Atmaja at Siloam Hospital Tangerang on July 11, 2021 at 21:35 WIB,” wrote Ridwan Kamil.
Ridwan prayed that Eka’s deeds of worship would be accepted by Allah SWT.
Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan also conveyed his condolences.
“Innalilahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun… My deepest condolences for the passing of the Regent of Bekasi H. Eka Supria Atmaja. God willing, husnul khatimah, accepted all his good deeds, and given fortitude to the bereaved family. Amen,” wrote Anies.
The Deputy Mayor of Bekasi Tri Adhianto also conveyed his condolences through his twitter account.
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un, my friend, the Regent of Bekasi Regency, Eka Supria Atmaja has passed away tonight at 21.30. May the deceased be accepted by His side. Please pray for the residents,” wrote Tri
Eka Supria Atmaja passed away due to Covid-19. Eka died in the ICU Hospital Siloam Kelapa Dua Tangerang.
This was stated by the Head of the Communications Sub Division of the Protocol and Communications Section of the Bekasi Regency Regional Secretariat, Ramdhan Nurul Ikhsan.
“It’s true (because of covid). He died in the ICU. RSSiloam Kelapa Dua Tangerang,” he told CNNIndonesia.com.
