Angry with the Spanish players, suspicious of the 2022 World Cup VAR

Jakarta, CNNI Indonesia

Luis Enrique was angry at the Spanish players who were thought to have lost the rhythm of the game and also commented on Japan’s controversial goal incident in World Cup 2022.

Enrique admitted he couldn’t comment much on Japan’s controversial goal in the match. In the process of Japan’s second goal scored by Ao Tanaka, the ball appeared to have crossed the line before being kicked by Kaoru Mitoma.

Enrique briefly blurts out his heart but then concludes that he doesn’t want to comment further.

“I felt something strange was happening as the VAR took longer than necessary to make a decision.”

“I have nothing else to say,” Enrique said as quoted by The national news.

Also, Enrique chose to take out his disappointment on his team that couldn’t resist the Japanese attack. The Blue Samurai team scored two goals in three minutes, precisely in the 48th minute, followed by a second goal in the 51st minute.

“Absolutely five minutes with no possession, not even panic.”

“They can score two goals against us, even if they have to score two more, then they can score those goals,” said Enrique praising Japan.

Enrique then firmly stated that Spain did not deserve to keep their status as group winners.

“Japan advanced with first-place status and they deserved it because they beat Germany and Spain,” said Enrique.
