/ world today news/ An extremely ugly scandal took place minutes ago in the National Assembly, PIK agency writes. The deputy chairman of the BSP group, Nasko Merdzhanov, lost his temper and lashed out at his fellow party member Kadiev, saying: “What have you done? How are you not ashamed? We will have a fight with you later?”.
After the verbal barrage, Kadiev bowed his head and wept bitterly. The attempts of three MPs to comfort him did not help either. One of them even told him: “You no longer have a future in BSP! Come to us in GERB”.
What was the argument about?
Kadiev managed to push a text into the Law on Gambling, according to which the tax on offline gambling should continue to be 15%, and the tax on online betting should be reduced. Apart from GERB, he received the support of 7 MPs from BSP and two from “Ataka”.
In this way, he prevented Yordan Tsonev’s proposal that offline and online betting be taxed equally, with which the state will receive BGN 22 million less tax revenue per year.
Kadiev’s action enraged not only Merdzhanov, but also Tsonev himself.
The second person in the DPS came out angry and said to the journalists: “BSP are the broken yard”.
Georgi Kadiev’s Facebook comment on this PIK agency article:

Extremely unprofessional article by the PIK Agency. There was a slight emotional clash between me and my colleague Merdzhanov regarding the Gambling Law. It was by no means a scandal. There have been even fewer threats to me. And at least there was crying.
Being a politician is a mission and a vocation, not a kindergarten. I believe we have made a good gambling tax regime.
