Angry festival-goers predict bleak future in Munich

Very poor, the last two years were better organized,” summed up another woman. “I missed a concert that I would have liked to see,” describes another visitor who was stuck in line for an hour and a half.

According to eyewitnesses, the first artist on the Olympic Stage, Levin Liam, also railed against the organizers because they made unfriendly announcements to him. In addition, many fans complained about the acoustics. “I’m trying to understand something. I can barely hear the bass, but I can’t understand a word or a song from Rin. Very bad acoustics,” wrote one woman. “Putting the Super Stage and the Olympic Stage together and then not getting the sound right is just sad! For us, it was probably the last year,” announced a guest on the Instagram page.

Superbloom apology follows – Festival visitors furious: “We won’t let this happen”

The heat also affected the guests, and long queues formed at the water stations. The latest post, in which the organizer thanks everyone for the first day, also includes an official apology: “We would like to apologize from the bottom of our hearts for the late entry. We are working hard to make your visit to the festival tomorrow go smoothly.” One user is not at all happy about this, describes his impression and announces further steps: “You won’t get away with it this year. An email including a complaint to the festival management and the town hall has been sent. We won’t let that happen again.”

Others even go a step further and predict a bleak future: “I’m calling it now, that was the last Superbloom! Nobody will buy tickets for that crap again.” However, there are also some patient visitors who “can’t understand all the fuss.” One writes: “It was a beautiful Saturday with a perfect ending. I’m really looking forward to Sunday,” or “That was awesome,” can be read. Visitors will be excited to see whether Sunday runs more smoothly and has a satisfying ending. (ank)
