Try your luck at #FIBDchallenge2023. This year again, the Angoulême International Comics Festival is organizing its social media contest.
The competition is open to all comic book creators at least 18 years old.
The competition was launched this Wednesday June 15 and will end on November 9, 2022.
To participate in this competition, you must master comics, but also digital tools.
Indeed, to try to win this contest, you will have to create a comic strip from digital, using videos, photos or even gifs.
The work must be composed of 3 to 9 visuals and be published on the artist’s Instagram account.
The latter must, to participate, add under his publication the hashtag #FIBDchallenge2023 and identify the Angoulême Festival page @bdangouleme.
Lots of prizes to be won
All works posted on the contest hashtag will be reviewed and decided by a jury of professionals.
The winning projects will win places for the Festival to be held in 2023, between January 26 and 29.
The three projects that arrive on the podium will be awarded a grant to finance their next works. The winner will receive €500the second €300 and the third €100.
Last year, the competition was won by the graphic designer Pierre Cesca.
