Angolan Footballer Demands Late Salaries from Al-Ahly Club

The Angolan Kisanga Bastos, defender of Al-Ahly’s first football team, demanded that his club’s management hand him over six months’ late salaries within ten days, as a maximum, or file a complaint against him with the International Federation of the Game “FIFA”, according to a letter, of which Al-Riyadiah obtained a copy.
This came after the defender’s contribution to the return of the western team to the ranks of the Saudi Roshen League, after it was relegated to the Yellow League for first-class clubs in the previous season.
According to the letter addressed to Al-Ahly management, Bastos requested about 540,000 euros, “2,252,724.40 Saudi riyals,” representing his late monthly salaries, in addition to bonuses for winning matches and boarding.
The player refused to give the team any deadline, or to “tolerate” him if the specified period expired, according to what was stated in the letter.
It is noteworthy that the International Sports Court “Cass” previously granted Al-Ahly club the right to temporary measures, and to temporarily stop the decision to prevent registration for two periods, issued against it by the International Federation, in return for not paying the dues of Jamaican Louis Grabban.
