Angola invests in the digitization of Public Administration – Jornal OPaís

The guarantee was given by the Angolan ambassador to Ethiopia, Miguel César Domingos Bembe, last weekend, in Addis Ababa, according to which the Angolan Executive has invested in new mechanisms for the digital transition of the Public Administration, including the General Office of Consular Management (SIGGEC).

According to the ambassador, who is also a Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU), SIGGEC is a digital platform with the aim of ensuring greater integration, modernization, decentralization and operationality of consular services provided to Angolans in host countries.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony to the community, the Permanent Representative of Angola to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) spoke of the protection of Angolan communities abroad as something of extreme importance, as it constitutes a powerful instrument for projecting the identity national.

On the other hand, Ambassador Miguel Bembe expressed his complete willingness to interact with community members, in a permanent and inclusive dialogue, and to contribute to the resolution of the most pressing concerns. Finally, he highlighted the importance of associativism in communities abroad, as an indispensable foundation for the defense, mobilization, integration and promotion of the interests of Angolans.
