Two months after the initial date of this meeting which had been interrupted due to an ice problem, Angloys and Niçois met again this Wednesday evening at the Barre. As a reminder, the two teams were obliged to use the same two squads that were planned for this late match of the 17th day. Anglet was therefore deprived at the kick-off of Anton Vasilev and CJ Garcia. Once again Nice believes to reduce the score, but the goal is disallowed for offside. The Eagles collide with the Angloye defense, and obtain a penalty following a collision on Kopta who was going on a breakaway. The Czech rushes, and falls on a solid Hardy, who stops this shot on goal and leaves Anglet in front at the second break.
The third act is apathetic. Thomas Decock tries to drop the gloves against Kopta, who seems not to ask as much, which has the gift of waking up an enthusiastic Barre rink. Frustrated, the people of Nice received penalties and the intensity went up a notch. Anglet, all in control, manages the highlights of the Riviera, in particular a double numerical inferiority at the end of the clock. In an end to the match rich in emotions, the Hormadi won brilliantly by keeping this score, went back to 9th place and revived before a trip to Gap, this Friday evening.
