Still no conventioneers in the Angevin equipment which had been completely renovated in 2018/2019. Called the Jean Monnier Congress Center, named after the former mayor, the congress center has been welcoming students from the École supérieure d’agro-development international since Monday.

Destination Angers, the structure that manages the Angers Congress Center has been asked by the city to provide ISTOM with a room on Boulevard Carnot to accommodate students in international agro-development.
This school, which trains engineers, future executives in the agricultural and environmental sectors, could not take face-to-face lessons for all its students in compliance with health instructions.
L’SAME did not have enough solutions for all of its students to return to the Belle-Beille campus. The provision of one of the rooms of the congress center will complete this. It will be specially fitted out. “All promotions will be able to benefit each week from several half-days of teaching in accordance with the barrier gestures and the instructions in force within the convention center” explains a press release from the City.
The director of the higher school noted, like many other courses, the demotivation of certain students who risked dropping out. “This collaboration with the congress center and Destination Angers is a real opportunity for the students” declares Thierry Peleau.
Other establishments in the City could thus be used.
