“Angers SCO Confirms Alexandre Dujeux as Head Coach for Next Two Seasons”

Alexandre Dujeux extends his contract with Angers SCO for the next two seasons. The club announced it via a statement : “Angers SCO is pleased to formalize the appointment of Alexandre Dujeux as head of the first team for the next two seasons. » The coach arrived in March 2023, during the defeat against Toulouse, (2-0). He took the place of Abdel Bouhazama, who had himself replaced Gérald Baticle. The native of Villers-Semeuse in the Ardennes, settled down with the Black and Whites in 2021, as an assistant coach.

Alexandre Dujeux played more than 400 games during his career, with stints notably at Red Star, Châteauroux and Le Havre before retiring in the summer of 2010. Among his main objectives at the head of the SCO: to rebuild a group of first, before possibly bringing the club up to Ligue 1. Angers was officially relegated on the occasion of the 33^e day and a defeat against Stade Rennes, (4-2), on April 30.
