For the sixth year in a row, Acontrecorps.com offers a ranking of the cities most “affected” by junk food in France. Angers remains in the top 10 of the 32 largest French metropolises.

The 6th edition of the ranking of cities with the largest number of fast-food restaurants (per 1,000 inhabitants) has been unveiled. Angers retains 8th place in this low ranking of “junk food”.
Angers holds 13th place in the ranking of cities where large fast food brands are most present with 24 restaurants, or as many as last year.
For this study, Acontrecorps.com maintained the ranking of the 32 main French cities and analyzed the location of the 16 largest fast food chains in France: McDonald, Quick, Burger King, KFC, Paul, Brioche Dorée, Domino’s Pizza , Subway, La Mie Câline, Starbucks, La Croissanterie, Pizza Hut, Pomme de Pain, O’tacos, Bagelstein and Speed Burger.
Unsurprisingly, the McDonald’s brand once again confirms its leadership position in the market, expanding to the top of the most represented fast-food brands with 233 restaurants in these 32 large cities. “ However, there is a strong impact of the pandemic on the capital, since the giant has recorded 11 restaurant closures this year, including 10 extended in the Paris region. », Indicates the website Acontrecorps.com.
