Angers: Olivier Pickeu dismissed for serious misconduct with immediate effect – Foot – L1 – Angers

As expected, Olivier Pickeu, laid off as a conservatory since March 10, and who had a prior interview with his management, on March 20, received this Friday a registered letter which records his dismissal. The general manager (50) has been in place at SCO for 14 years. Among the complaints against him, he was notably notified during this interview, “Serious and repeated serious faults, likely to harm the interests of the club”.

This Friday, Olivier Pickeu responded with a press release:

“I took note this day (Friday), after being received for an interview on March 20, of my dismissal for serious misconduct with immediate effect. At this point, I leave it to President Said Chabane to communicate the alleged reasons in an attempt to justify this decision, which I strongly challenge.

When the time comes, I intend to assert my rights with regard to the very serious personal and professional damage that I suffer as a result of this sudden sidelining and the reasons and conditions in which it took place.

– –

For now, and in the difficult period that we are all going through, I would simply like, whatever the outcome of the sports season, to wish good luck to Angers SCO and warmly thank the players, coaches, club employees, volunteers, elected officials, partners and supporters who, for almost 14 years, have encouraged, supported and trusted me for the development of this club which will forever remain the club of my heart. “
