Amsterdam – Tens of thousands of Dutch people have absolutely nothing to do with their solar panels when the sun shines the hardest. The mains voltage in their neighborhood is too high and the built-in safety system temporarily switches off their panels. Households with solar panels are furious that they are missing out on money. “If we had known this, we would never have bought them.”
