I have known Zhivko Kotsev for less than a year, but I have never been interested and do not know the details of his work. This is stated by the former MP and former Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova, who appears in some of the photos distributed around the investigation into the scandal at the Customs Agency.

“I regret that my name is involved in this story with a political and MIA flavor. I emphasize that I have no information about the activities of people associated with Mr. Kotsev,” Angelkova adds.

“In Bulgaria, I do not carry out any professional activities related to administration and institutions, in order not to create a background and speculations due to my biography in the executive power and politics. I have nothing to hide, but I refuse to enter into political intrigue and have my name used by political opponents in any interpretative context. I will assist the competent authorities with the truth if I am asked,” concludes the former minister.
Nikolina Angelkova was present in one of the photos in which the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Zhivko Kotsev posed with a gift – an expensive watch.
“There are photos from Sofia airport. They are of Dimitrov, Kotsev and another public figure.
