Angelina Sondakh out of prison after 9 years 10 months 5 days. He is on leave before being released (CMB).
“CMB will start on March 3, 2022 from the Class IIA Jakarta Women’s Prison,” said Head of the DKI Jakarta Kemenkumham Regional Office, Ibnu Chuldun in his statement, Thursday (3/3/2022).
It is known, Angelina Sondakh has served a criminal period of 9 years, 10 months, 5 days. Meanwhile, the period of social reintegration Angelina Sondakh expires on June 1, 2022.
During the social reintegration period, Angelina Sondakh will live in the Belezza Albergo Apartment, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.
“A guidance plan has been prepared and carried out asessment the need for those concerned in the context of guiding the client self-report is carried out every 2 weeks with fixed methods, namely virtual and face-to-face,” explained Ibnu.
While in the Class I Rutan Pondok Bambu and Class IIA Jakarta Women’s Prison, Angelina Sondakh was classified as active in activities. These include being active in drawing mukena and veil designs, being active in sewing activities to produce mukena and bags, actively participating in batik training, and so on.
As previously reported, Angelina Sondakh has been serving a sentence at the Jakarta Women’s Prison starting April 27, 2012. She was sentenced to prison in a budget case at the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) and the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) otherwise known as the Wisma Athlete case.
Angelina Sondakh was sentenced to 10 years in prison, a fine of IDR 500 million subsidiary 6 months in prison, and replacement money of IDR 2.5 billion and USD 1.2 million subsidiary 4 months 5 days.
Angie has paid a fine of Rp 500 million, while from the replacement money, Angie has paid Rp 8,815,972,722, the remaining Rp 4,538,027,278 which will be replaced with a prison sentence of 4 months and 5 days.
Angelina Sondakh’s release date was originally April 27, 2022 if the fine and compensation are paid in full.
“During CMB, Angelina Sondakh is obliged to follow the guidance carried out by the Correctional Center community supervisor,” said Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Section of the Directorate General of Corrections, Rika Apriyanti in a written statement, Wednesday (2/3/2022).
