Actress Angelina Jolie has appointed her 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, as her backstage assistant, as Angelina plays the title role in The Normal Heart on Broadway.
And this isn’t the first time Vivian has been involved in her mother’s work, in 2014, she appeared in the movie Unbroken alongside Jolie and her siblings.
Jolie, 47, plays Natalie Kennedy in The Normal Heart, a play about the AIDS epidemic in the 1970s, and received wide critical acclaim for her performance.
Excited to help her mom
A close relative of Jolie’s family said the daughter loves being on Broadway and seeing her mom work, and is very excited to help with anything her mom needs.
The news sparked mixed reactions from fans, and one fan wrote on the X app: This is amazing, Angelina Jolie is a role model for mothers.
Another fan wrote: “This is a little concerning, I’m sure Vivian would love to help, but I hope she gets a chance to enjoy her childhood too.”
