As part of her collaboration with Guerlain and her commitment to the protection of bees with the house, Angelina Jolie visited this Monday, January 30, a primary school in Clichy-sous-Bois, in Seine-Saint-Denis.
A few hours before going to the Guerlain boutique on the Champs-Elysées, Angelina Jolie went to a primary school in Clichy-sous-Bois (in Seine-Saint-Denis) to teach students the fundamental role of pollination of bees in agri-food production and the preservation of biodiversity. The 47-year-old American actress was photographed with the school children, elegantly dressed in a beige dress and a pair of black pumps.
“The class was lovely. Brilliant young minds asking big questions. Children always quickly understand what adults often try to over-complicate or excuse. There were lots of smiles except when they realized that without bees there was no chocolate! “wrote the superstar on his Instagram account this Friday, February 17.
“Guerlain and the school [Henri Barbusse, ndlr] will install beehives around the establishment and will organize new Bee School sessions in the months to come”, can we read in a press release from the French house. Lorène Mouchet, beekeeper, and Cécile Lochard, director of sustainable development at Guerlain, were also present.
Guerlain ambassador for seven years now, the American star continues her close collaboration with the perfumer. Angelina Jolie is particularly involved in the Women for Bees program which, in partnership with UNESCO, supports female beekeeping entrepreneurship and the protection of bees.
Angelina Jolie’s previous outing dated back to mid-January. The American appeared in New York with her daughter Zahara (18), now a student at Spelman University in Georgia. Brad Pitt’s ex-wife has five other children: Maddox (21), Pax (19), Shiloh (16), Vivienne (14) and Knox (14).
