Angelina Jolie Launches “Atelier Jolie” Fashion Brand, Aiming to Democratize the Fashion Industry

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Hollywood star, Angelina Jolie, announced the launch of her own brand, “Atelier Jolie”, on Wednesday, in a special post on the Instagram platform.

Jolie wrote: “I’m starting a new project today… a group that allows everyone to be creative.”

“Atelier Jolie is a place where creative people collaborate with different skilled tailors, pattern makers, and artisans from all over the world,” she added.

“This stems from my deep appreciation and respect for the many tailors and makers I’ve worked with over the years, and a desire to make use of the high-quality vintage materials and dead fabrics already available, and also to be part of a movement that encourages self-expression,” she explained.

And the brand, through its account on the Instagram platform, published more details about its purpose.

“Atelier Jolie seeks to democratize the fashion industry, allowing customers access to a range of emerging designers and master craftsmen,” she wrote.

“There will also be a comprehensive online resource for finding makers, utilizing dead stock and vintage materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces that embody personal creativity and intent.”

In a statement posted on the company’s website, the Atelier Jolie brand emphasizes diversity.

“Through our work with global artisans and creators, we hope to help share the richness of their cultural heritage and support the development of their businesses,” she explained.
