The Brussels singer Angèle, big favorite of the Music Industry Awards (MIA), the music awards in Flanders, has been nominated six times for the double edition 2020-2021, the organizers announced on Wednesday.
This event, which could not take place last year due to the pandemic, will take place on February 3, 2022 and will cover the years 2020 and 2021.
Angèle was nominated in six categories: Pop, Best female solo artist, Songwriter / composer of the year, Best video clip (for the song “Bruxelles je t’aime”), Song of the year 2020 (“Yes or non ”) and Song of the Year 2021 (“ Fever ”, with Dua Lipa).
Stromae could also grab prizes in the Pop, Best Male Solo Artist and Best Music Video categories.
