On social media, several users have related the comment that Daniel Arenas made about Angela Aguilar and Christian Nodal with their departure from the television program ‘Hoy Día’, which is broadcast on the Telemundo network.
Surprisingly, the Colombian said that he does not agree with someone being unfaithful to their partner. “That’s why society is the way it is, we are normalizing that someone who loves you can be unfaithful,” he commented this week on the morning show.
For many, this message was uncomfortable and that is why they decided to remove him from the morning show, although Daniel Arenas insisted that it was he who resigned and that he left the television network on good terms.
“Nobody is firing me from the company, there was no problem, I adore and love Telemundo and above all my program ‘Hoy Día’, which will always be my home. I am enormously grateful for the opportunity that you gave me, to be with you every day, to host a program like this, which is a great responsibility,” he said.
However, several users on social media do not believe this version and have stated: “Daniel is a great human being with values that he would not set aside to join those television stations and do and say what they want to implement the 2030 agenda and promote and normalize all the bad that is good because he did not let himself be bought like everyone else.”
Another message that was read was: “He was forced to resign because the television network put him in trouble for the comments he made regarding the disrespectful relationship between Nodal and Angela, because he said that we should not give him the title that everything is normal in the lack of respect and infidelity comparing it with pure and true love.”
Daniel Arenas’ departure was quite surprising for the public, since there were no signs that he would end his time on the show. That’s why many did not expect him to end his participation as host. It is likely that in the next few days they will announce who could join the cast, with Clovis Nienow being one of the names that sounds the most.
