Today, in a good mood, “Heart of Music” continues to celebrate June as the month of LGBTQ +, emphasizing the many events of Riga Pride 2022. This time the special guest will be artist and LGBTQ + activist Mētra Saberova. Let’s talk about the ongoing campaigns as well as the upcoming ones, as well as the importance of Pride and human rights as such.

In the first part of the show, Alise Stefanoviča, the leader of the group Podruga, who together with the group released a new single “Don’t Let Me Down” a week ago, will also be featured in the studio, and a video is presented today. Let’s talk about the song and video, as well as possibly this year’s debut album.

There will be a third interview in the second half of the show! Let’s call with activist and musician Ralph Eiland, who will be one of several musicians who will perform at the closing concert of the main part of Riga Pride 2022 – the procession – in Vērmane Garden. #UntilWeAreAllFree.

This time we will get rid of the usual music news, but the sixth studio recording of the American musician Angel Olsen – the warm and loving “Big Time” – was highly appreciated by critics in honor of the Album of the Week.

It should be noted that this will be the last show of “Heart of Music” in June, because for various reasons Žagars and Dace take a 2-week vacation to return to the audience in early July. True, on June 17 from 16 to 17 will be heard a special Žagar’s microchip in the mood of Pride.
