“We met in the Mojo club. A friend from “Erasmus” was visiting. We had to show Riga and go hang out,” recalls Anete, who didn’t want to leave the house that night.
“I was sitting, and a slightly drunk Miķelis came up to me. He was insistent. Wanted to get acquainted and invited to dance. We hung out until closing that night. We were the last to go out because I couldn’t find my coat. Mičelis was a gentleman and gave me a sweater and a hat,” says Anete.
Anete met Miķeli at the end of October. It was not the first and last meeting, because Aneta had to return the belongings lent by Mikel.
“We corresponded on “draugiem.lv” about where the return of belongings could take place,” says Anete, and she decided to invite Miķeli to “Hamlet”, where she played improvisation and there were performances every Wednesday.
“It’s a safe environment to meet this dubious boy to return his belongings,” Annette says with a smile, because she had a fallback plan, to say she was a busy actress.

The moment of confusion for Aneta was when, upon entering the audience hall, she realized that she did not remember what Miķelis looked like and who she should give her belongings to now.
After the meeting, they continued to correspond on “draugiem.lv” and Anete’s classmate was amused by Miķel’s funny pictures.
As soon as he saw Aneti, it was clear to Michael that she was special. “How special she is, I continue to study for 12, 13 years,” Miķelis says with a smile.
The daily duties of the Bendiks are subordinated to both work and family, however, Anete and Miķelis have realized through their relationship experience that the time spent together should also become a priority. Both go on joint trips, thanks to fellow human beings who get involved, helping in the strictly planned everyday life with the children. All this is possible due to effective time planning, which is the main task of the Bendik family, since one of the sons requires more special attention due to his diagnosis and movement disorders.
No matter how challenging the daily life of the Bendik family becomes, they are united by humor, the ability to laugh at themselves and sometimes at each other.
