“Anem al Teatre Campaign brings the magic of theater to Massamagrell’s youth”

The theater is being the protagonist at the end of the month of April and the beginning of the month of May in the town of Massamagrell. This past Wednesday, April 26, the 35th edition of the Anem al Teatre Campaign was inaugurated, with which the performing arts are promoted among the school-age population of the town. Also, as explained by the City Council itself, it seeks to create healthy leisure habits and bring theater closer to the little ones, in addition to unifying resources from other administrations and promoting theatrical activity in the Valencian Community.

The campaign has the support of the Servei de Asistència i Recursos Culturals (SARC) of the Culture area of ​​the Diputación de Valencia. The 2023 edition will have four theatrical performances in Massamagrell valued at more than 6,300 euros.

The first performance was on Wednesday morning with: “Paraules en les butaxques” by the Los Combi’ company, which was aimed at all infant students and divided into two sessions at the Theater of the Joan Fuster i Ortells Cultural Center. In this work she has enjoyed a journey to discover a new world, the magic of names, numbers and colors.

On April 27, the programming of this campaign continued with “El somni de Juli Verne” by the company JM Gestión Teatral for students from First to Fourth grade, divided into two sessions.

In this show we were presented with the story of a young Jules Verne who, together with his brother, will live a thousand and one adventures in which they will imagine that they are creators of continents and oceans. A whole hymn to the love of literature, theater and ultimately culture.

The planned programming will also be extended during this month of May with the following performances: this Wednesday, May 3, the CEIP Obispo Amigó will share a morning with the Mira Rosana company that will represent, in its center, “La Pez Paz” for the students of 2 years; while the fourth play will be held on Thursday, May 4 with “A la llum de la notícia” with the Tramant Teatre company, which will be attended by 5th and 6th grade students, and which is inspired by three plays by Pere Calders . These are absurd tales with bizarre situations that can happen to us any day and that will surely delight viewers.
