World-famous former football player Nicolas Anelka, who plays for Fenerbahçe in Turkey, gave an interview to Haber Global. Describing his days in Fenerbahçe, Anelka made striking confessions about the championship that escaped in Denizli in 2006.

We did not have a very individual communication with Aziz Yıldırım. He had a harsh temperament as a president himself. But he knew what he was doing on and off the field. I love Turkey and Fenerbahçe very much. The broadcaster demanded a lot of money for the footage of the matches to be used in my documentary. We were shocked. Images from the matches in the stadium, especially the goals I scored against big teams… I was very upset. I wanted Turkey and Turkish football to be seen more, but the institution holding the broadcasting rights wanted a lot of money.
“ARDA AND INDIVIDUAL SHOULD GO”
I recommend that both names go abroad to test themselves. Maybe his plans include staying in Fenerbahçe completely. I never want to disrespect Turkish football, but they should go to important clubs abroad. They can also return to Fenerbahçe later on.”
