Anefp launches a virtual assistant that reports on the self-care habits of Spaniards during the pandemic

In line with its commitment to health education for responsible self-care, the Association for Health Self-care (anefp) has opted for artificial intelligence and has launched a virtual assistant named “GAU” (acronym for Self-Care Guide).

It is a chatbot designed so that users can know the healthy habits and behaviors that Spaniards are acquiring and that are crucial to cope with the virus and reduce infections. Will we Spaniards keep the use of disinfectant gel or masks? How has the behavior of society impacted the development of the pandemic? This guide, which you can find on the Anefp website, will solve these and other questions about self-care that can be found in the 1st Anefp Study: “Evolution of self-care habits in Spain at the time of Covid-19”, as well as the trends of citizens in each of the autonomous communities.

As noted Nuria Sastre, Communication Director of the Association, “From anefp we continue working and we are satisfied to continue taking steps around digitization with this artificial intelligence tool. From now on, GAU, our Self-Care Guide, will be available to all citizens who need it, offering virtual assistance. In this way GAU becomes part of the anefp team with the idea that little by little citizens will find in it a guide for all those self-care tips, health information and healthy habits that allow them to develop responsible self-care ”, he pointed out Nuria Sastre, communication director of anefp “.
