It was just over 24 hours before the most anticipated holiday of the year that the announcement fell. The Prefect communicated yesterday at 7 pm the measures taken for New Year’s Eve. Restrictive measures come into effect from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. A progressive curfew will be applied from 10 p.m.
The reactions are very numerous, at the political level as from all parts in Reunion. Example in the world of music with Andy, the singer who broke through this year. He uses his favorite phrase “be well” in this message to the Prefect:
“I hope your curfew will be good, will be great! See you at the Port! Make the curfew good!”
